Wolf Tree Programs LLC fosters healthy relationships to self and community through nature immersion and wilderness living skills. We offer a variety of programs for children and adults.

Wild Coyotes

An after-school program at Leverett Elementary School

Taking a waiting list for 2018-19


A supportive container for kids to grow, play and deepen their connection to nature. Kids are encouraged to follow their interests and explore the natural world through all their senses. Combining outdoor skills, unstructured free play and a long-term mentoring model, Wild Coyotes offers your kids a safe place to be themselves and develop a deeper connection with the natural world.

Content will include:

  • Naturalist knowledge (such as plant & animal I.D.)
  • Primitive skills such as fire-making, crafts, edible wild foods & medicines
  • Games & Play
  • Story-telling
  • Wandering & Exploring the land
  • Positive role-modeling and group dynamics


Time: Wednesdays, 1pm-5pm

2018-19 Dates: 27 Sessions
Fall Session:
Every school Wednesday, Sept 5 - Dec 12 (except Nov 21)
Spring Session:
Every school Wednesday, March 6 - June 5* (except April 17)
* Includes Potluck with Family & Friends

Bill Rivers Conservation Area, adjacent to school.
Age Range: 6-12

Cost: Sliding Scale, $875 - $1125 for the full year.

Please Note: Staff will pick your kids up at school and walk to program site. Parents do not need to be on-site for pick-up.
