Roots is a wilderness skills program for homeschoolers where we spend an entire day (9am-3pm) out in the woods. Together we learn the ways of the forest through: fire building, shelter construction, rope-making, bone and stone tool making, animal tracking, sensory awareness games, exploring and having fun. -
Raising Megaliths! (6)
A megalith is a large stone which has been used to construct a structure or monument, either alone or together with other stones. Megalithic describes structures made of such large stones, utilizing an interlocking system without the use of mortar or cement. The word 'megalith' comes from the Ancient Greek μέγας megas meaning great, and λίθος lithos meaning stone.
