Festival & Fundraiser

May 31st, 2015

Join us for an afternoon of celebration and fun, while supporting the Wolf Tree Scholarship Fund. There will be short workshops of all sorts (flintnapping, simple bike repair, how to move toward producing all your food, working with hides, just to name a few), food, and the second ever Awesome Wolf Tree raffle. Families getting together, learning things, enjoying being outdoors, visiting…general good times.

But that is not the sole purpose, of course. We’re raising money for the Scholarship Fund. The money we raised last year at Free Soup and Games Night at Hope and Olive has helped support the tuition for six families this year. We want to continue that. We want to always have funds available to ensure that the kids who want to attend Wolf Tree programs are able to do so. This means we need to raise the money. We could do that in a lot of ways, like sending out emails asking for donations from everyone. Instead, we’d really like to do what we’re planning: something fun, something educational, something along the lines of a celebration.

When: Sunday, May 31st

Where: The Sunderland Town Park, 50 Park Road, Sunderland, MA
With ample parking, and a pavilion with bathrooms and lots and lots of picnic tables inside. Also, there is a trail to Mt. Toby just a short walk up the road.

Time: 12:00-5:00pm
